**Thesis Title:** Nothing between You and the Set but Space: A Cultural History of the Zenith Space Commander Remote Control

**What Now:** Counsel, Senate Select Committee on Intelligence

I always knew I wanted to be a lawyer, and the training I got as a Hist & Lit concentrator has been invaluable to me in my legal career. After working for two years after college, I entered law school knowing that I wanted to work for the government. I graduated from The George Washington University Law School in 2015, and since then, have been working as a national security lawyer. The focus on close reading texts, bringing creative analysis to bear on complex issues, and questioning long-held assumptions have all been pretty directly applicable in my daily life as a lawyer in a growing and complicated field. NB: I also had a prospective employer ask for--and read!--my senior thesis, so be careful what you put on your resume!
