I teach and study modern world literature, with a special interest in South Asia, the global Cold War, and post-colonial studies.

My writing has appeared in South Asia, The Journal of Cinema and Media Studies, Safundi, The Point and The Chronicle of Higher Education. I'm currently at work on two projects: a monograph on modern Indian literature in Hindi and English, and a collection of essays on migration, religion, and self-forgetting.

In Fall 2023, I will be teaching a seminar on The Global South Asian Diaspora. In the past, I've taught classes on travel writing, decolonization, dystopian science fiction, Anglo-American modernism, modern South Asian literature, and Indian cinema.
